Vehicles rolling along rail tracks are synonymous with noise. These sounds may be romantic to some, but in reality they are an alarming sign of inefficiency, discomfort and disturbance. We can do better.
To solve this issue Traila is developing an active steering system designed to determine an optimal running position on the tracks This precise positioning eliminates excessive and undesirable rail track guidance forces, minimising wear and minimising acoustic emissions.

We are an independent and privately owned organisation, but our beliefs are collective and collaborative.
By nurturing agile development methods, we combine rapid prototyping, control automation systems, and state of the art simulation analytics, to guarantee safe and effective vehicle design In addition, a custom built rolling road testing facility is central to our development efforts.
Today we naturally evolve from the laboratory, heading out into the real world, and focused on adapting and integrating our technology into fully operational vehicles Traila is an ISO 9001 certified organisation with the operations in Zürich, a globally recognised city for excellence, quality and innovation.
